ReCandle recommends:
- Erik LaCaze
Erik LaCaze built this website, from scratch, with very little meaningful direction from us. We were busy in the studio pouring candles. Isn’t it spiffy? Erik is professional, knowledgeable, intuitive, responsive, clever, funny and patient. He speaks Internet AND English, always a plus for those of us who are, shall we say, techno-challenged?
- The Green Room at 1727 Levee Street
The Green Room at 1727 Levee Street in the Dallas Design District debuted May 1, 2010 carrying only eco-friendly art, made from reclaimed or re-purposed materials. How cool is that? Very. See artists ranging from the curator, Julia Schloss of Resurrection Art ("saving the world, one dumpster at a time") who takes everyday discards and turns them into unbelievable works of art. Also, see Primal Earth, a local artist who creates handmade leather items (books, bags and incredible mask art) from leather scraps. Then, there's Rocket Girl (aka local musician Annie Benjamin) who crafts fun and funky earth-friendly tote bags, purses and aprons from vintage fabrics. The list goes on . . . gallery hours Wednesdays and Saturdays or by appointment. Official motto -- "Get trashed. You know you wanna!"
- Discount Home Warehouse
Discount Home Warehouse in Dallas is an architectural wonderland for designers, builders, remodelers, homeowners or anyone who wants to Build It Green. Why use recycled building materials? If you can save 50 to 90%, is that worth it? We think so. Plus, they carry this great line of recycled candles, ReCandle! Go Green, Save Green!
- Vintage Martini
Vintage Martini in Old Downtown Carrollton is one of the most charming and delightful shops around. Do you channel Audrey Hepburn? Rita Hayworth? Bette Davis? Go ahead, be a femme fatale in their vintage couture, or just drink like one, with some of their fabulous barware, including swanky silver cocktail shakers and vibrant glassware. Check out the retro cool vintage ReCandles on the shelf.
- Random
Random, fka LamLee Home Furnishings. Hidden deep within Inwood Village just south of Lovers Lane in Dallas are some of the most fun, colorful and unusual home decor and gift items you won't find anywhere else. We love their message tea towels, Quote: “I've child-proofed the house, but they keep getting in”, notecards, stationery and handmade jewelry. Love those handmade ReCandles, too. But, don’t touch the adorable Border Collie statue that guards the front door – we’ve got dibs on it.
- Condom Sense
Condom Sense just made saving the planet a whole lot sexier. With five stores in the Dallas Fort Worth area now carrying our line of eco-friendly candles and votives, you're bound to find a ReCandle that will light your fire! Check it out.

- Kerry Davis Jr. Band
Kerry Davis Jr. Band is the real deal. We love and support family, especially when they’re talented and good-looking. We also love authentic Texas Country Music, not to be confused with regular country music. Think Austin, think South by Southwest, think good times, cold beer and new music from an old country soul. Always playing somewhere in Texas – check the calendar. Don't live in Texas? Buy a cd.
